It would be problematic to do such a thing on the route servers
themselves, as the nature of what bird does would require root access
for whatever web CGI process to get any information out of them.
That would be alot of careful coding to make it all right.
I did spin up a proof of concept virtual machine of taking a read-only
BGP feed off the RRs and providing looking glass web and route-view CLI
access to the data, but nobody seemed interested at all in it, so it was idled.
That probably is the cleanest way to do anything, getting the route
data to *something else*, it can do whatever it wants with it, rather
than trying to write something secure around bird.
