While doing maintenance work on our web cluster (see previous
announcements as to OS updates) - our load balancers did not continue
to mark 2 of the servers offline like it should have and was directing
some traffic to servers that were not serving any web requests.

Looking at the logs - this started at approximately 4:30PM and
continued until 6:10PM.

Our monitoring systems had been configured to ignore these systems
while the maintenance was being performed, and the web sites we were
monitoring that are behind the load balancers were not affected.

I am sorry this happened and I am looking into how to better monitor
for this kind of failure in the future and make sure the load
balancers operate as expected when dealing with servers that are
online but not serving content.

This will not affect any other services on the ipHouse network,
traffic continued to flow, email services were online.
