Beginning at 11:30pm and continuing until 4:00am, we will be working with Compellent on an update to our SAN used for our managed infrastructure customers. During this update - all customer servers utilizing the SAN will be turned down cleanly. There will be two of us specifically tasks with the shutdown and turn-up of the customer services while another person will be handling the work with Compellent. The actual work on the customer servers will begin after 10:00pm on Saturday, December 4th, 2010 with service restoration happening before 6:00am Sunday, December 5th, 2010 (barring issues with the SAN update of course, but I'll send a note if that is the case). Once the SAN is back online and tested, we'll start to bring our customers back online. This does not affect any VMware hosted customers or ISP services, just managed infrastructure customers who store their data on our SAN.
