i won't bother to plumb the depths of the linkedin discussion system. mailing lists seem like a much better way to poke at this topic ... by way of testing the waters here. there are active ISOC chapters in a few cities around the country and we seem to be lacking in this regard. is there reasonable interest within this group (and i'll poll the other usual internet curious haunts as well, tclug, etc.) for the creation of a local ISOC chapter? this was on the 2010 todo list and it got pushed into 2011.
