I am working on things so this will be a very quick note. The NAS device has run out of cache called the duplicate request cache, this causes performance to degrade and eventually sends back errors to the client - in this case the VMware hypervisor. This is causing the volume to go offline and online repeatedly. I am in the process of doing a failover onto the other head unit so I can investigate and will send another message as soon as i have something to update.
