Do you need any assistance? I drive by FWR (down 94) before 7am most days during the summer and can easily swing by if it would be useful.

Subject: [MICE-DISCUSS] EX 4200 Port Moves
Sent: Aug 9, 2011 5:19 PM

We're going to start moving ports on to the new switches later this
week or early next week depending on FWR availability.

The move will happen at about 6:30 or 7 in the morning.

Here is the plan:
-Move Route Server #1
-Move CNS fiber and upgrade link to 10 G
-Move all copper ports to new EX 4200-24T (including route server #2)

The result will be a XE link between CNS and MICE Core and a GE link
to the old switch.

The single remaining fiber port (SDN) is scheduled to upgrade to 10G
late this summer and will not move at this time.

As we move, we'll verify the BGP sessions stay up and there is traffic
on the links.

I am planning to move ALL the copper ports in one window.

Thanks!

Jay
