The possibility of of hijacking your DNS queries goes up from zero to nonzero when enabling DNS lookups on the router also it can cause delays on some commands when their are DNS resolution issues. Unless you have a specific reason to have DNS lookups enabled on a cisco, I prefer to have DNS lookups disabled.
