That will change the primary IP. When it gets removed the neighbor
dies because that is typically the source IP of the TCP session. You
then need to add the "old" ip as a secondary. Causing the previously
mentioned blip.

There isn't really secondaries in Junos so, not an issue. What is the
behavior on Brocade and Extreme?
