Updates required:
New kernels and some of the running server applications have
security issues that need to be addressed.
Work being done:
System updates on all managed Ubuntu instances and reboots will be
done as required, interruptions will be quite short, usually less
than 20 seconds.
Once in a while there are patches that need to be applied because of
in the wild potential exploitations and this happens to be one of
those times.
This affects all LTS editions:
8.04 - userland items need to be udpated, apache and bind9 restarted
10.04 - kernel and userland items, reboot required
12.04 - kernel and userland items, reboot required
