Akamai's old peering address 69.147.218.84 is no longer active
(responding to pings) and they seem to be only using their new address
of 206.108.255.84. Therefore, if you are not announcing you routes with
a next hop within the new subnet of 206.108.255.0/24 Akamai no longer
has reach-ability to you.

I can only surmise that this took place at midnight Thursday night, as
Mike Bushard suggested. While I find the timing unfortunate, doing it
on a holiday weekend. However, maybe this was done to get the change in
place prior to a holiday shopping change freeze, I don't know. Anyway,
I commend Akamai for providing us all the extra incentive we needed to
complete the conversion.

We have one peer announcing with the new address and the other
announcing with the old address. We only saw our typical holiday
weekend drop off which actually started mid-Wednesday afternoon, and
things started to recover Sunday evening and seem to be fully recovered
today as is typical for Thanksgiving weekend for us.

My suggestion is to get your address changes going ASAP.
