We’re going to lose most historical data (at least from a port -> participant level) when we migrate to the Arista anyway, unless someone is going to play RRD masseuse.
Now would be the time.

As Chris mentioned, PHP Weathermap is easily integrated, similar to the current Cacti methodology.
 (i.e.: point to RRD file on disk somewhere)
