 We have four candidates for the 2017 IX-Denver Board of Directors
election. There are two open seats:

Paul Ebersman

I have been supported internet based systems and networks since my service
in the Air Force 1984-1988. I was employee #10 at UUNET,  starting AlterNet
(AS701-704) and have been involved in various ISPs, early IXs (MAE-East and
MAE-West, the CIX), outsourced data center operations, open source
development and various community organizations. I have been actively
involved in various NOGs, particularly NANOG and RIPE and have board

Chris Grundemann

Chris Grundemann is a passionate, creative Internet Technologist and a
strong believer in the Internet's power to aid in the betterment of
humankind. In his current role as Principal Architect at Myriad Supply he
is expressing that passion by helping clients build bigger, faster, more
efficient networks that are easier to operate and scale. Chris has well
over a decade of experience as both a network engineer and architect
designing, building, and operating large IP, Ethernet, and Wireless
Ethernet networks.  Chris holds 6 patents in network technology and is the
author of Day One: Exploring IPv6 and Day One: Advanced IPv6 Configuration,
as well as several IETF Internet Drafts, a personal weblog, and various
other industry papers and blogs. In addition to serving as President of
IX-Denver, he volounteers as Program Committee (PC) member for AfPIF,
ISOC-NY liaison to NYNOG, and Chair of the Open-IX BCOP committee.

Illia Petkov

Started as dial-up tech support in 1998; NOC and Installation Engineering,
for local and national ISPs and datacenter providers; IP Engineering with
tw telecom and Network Planning with Level 3. Currently Network Engineer
with small software company. Peering was always interesting topic for me.

Nate Todd

I’m a Virgo, and love long walks on the beach…. I also would like to be
considered to become a board member of the IX-Denver. I have been involved
in network engineering since serving in the Air Force in from 1995-1999.
Spent 12 years with USWest/Qwest/Centurylink in a variety of work groups
supporting TDM based telephony systems on up to a worldwide enterprise
backbone. Current work has been with multiple ISP's on backbone overhaul
and growth, cache deployments, and peering awareness and strategies.
