Starting on 1/24/20 around 11:05AM CST, the filer holding many critical
ipHouse systems had a complete hardware failure.
This affected email (inbound & outbound), ipMom & the Old-Blog hosting
platform for the critical systems that were impacted. Other systems
(ie. newer web hosting setups, DSL/Dialup connections, colo) were all unaffected.
Engineers were dispatched to the datacenter to diagnose the failed filer,
and were able to bring it back online with hardware spares onsite.
By 11:55AM CST, the mail systems were online enough to start handling email in and out.
By 12:30PM CST, all systems have been verified to be online and correctly
handling their functions.
We'll be monitoring everything as we normally do. If you have any
