They have 2 connections, and 2 sets of IPs (2 IPv6 and 2 IPv4).  Everyone should peer with both sets of IPs.  Currently 1 connection, and the corresponding 1 set of IPs is down, so as long as you are peered with the other set as well, all of the traffic should shift, and there should not be a problem.

Ok, so MICE’s own peer with Apple is good, but some people’s direct peer with Apple might not be good.

Traffic doubled on their second connection to MICE when the first one went down.

Thanks.  Can someone reconcile Anthony’s statement with Jay’s statement?

“Looks like MICE’s LAG Po30 to Apple went down at the same time - about 3:15am this morning.”

“One of their port channels is down. Looks like the other connection picked up the slack.”

Anyone else seeing Apple peer down over IPv4 and IPv6 since 3:18 am?
