We're very familure with it. This is how Qwest has been building out
their DSL offerings for the last couple of years (besides their VDSL
product, which only seems to be offered out of one CO in the state as
far as I can tell).

Since Qwest hasn't had to tarriff DSL services any longer, they only
built it to be serviced by their own ISP, all 3rd party ISPs are
locked out of providing service on the FTTN network.

Your area must have had a remote DSLAM get lit recently for you to get
marketing info about it. Haven't heard of any new deployments in a
while, must be the new year, new budget, etc. etc. at Qwest. Qwest has
been really slow about rolling it out.

So, yes, its possible that you can get faster service, but your ISP
will be through Qwest for access then.

Technically, these are where Qwest is deploying their ADSL2+ DSLAMs,
and backhauling it on ethernet back through the CO's back into Stinson
to go up the Net.
